We love Puerto Rico like a fat kid loves cake. Beautiful waves, beautiful landscapes and warm water - who could ask for more? While this winter has been one of the best on record for waves and conditions in this beautiful little island, we stumbled upon probably the worst weekend of weather and waves. As I was worried about the waves, weather and possible outcome of this event due to mother nature, there were 100 other competitors who had other things on their minds. Here are some of what I think they were thinking? Pablo Diaz had $500 dancing around his head while dreaming of a Pro-Am win on his home turf - Nailed It! Aron Geiger had the third season of south park playing over and over again in his head. Brandon Sanford was hoping to not get an interference in his heat, and he got one. While countless others couldn't wait for a super fun day on the beach rain or shine. Like I said I love PR and the optimism that showed with everyone on the beach was plenty enough to make me smile.
