Hands Across the Sand is a state-wide event which will be held on Saturday, February 13 at various beaches throughout the state. In Brevard County, it will take place at Lori Wilson Park in Cocoa Beach. At 1:00 p.m. participants will join hands to demonstrate human connectivity and how important the ocean and our beaches are to our way of life and our livelihoods from tourism, and how offshore drilling will greatly damage it by causing oil in our waters and on our beaches.
