The 2010 Golden Glove is set to be held on February 27th at 1st Street Beach in Ocean City, NJ. The Golden Glove is held in the middle of winter to see who can out surf and out last in the winter elements.

This year the Golden Glove has added more money to raise the level of competition and make the cold day worth it. Open Shortboard new for 2010 brings a $1000 spread to the top 3 finalist in that division. Also 21-13 Surfboards will be giving away a free custom board to the winner of the Jr Men division. The Men's and Grom division winner will also both receive a $100. All top three finalists will receive money and or products from sponsors.

ERGO came on as the title sponsor this year and will be hooking up each contestant with a free t-shirt at the event, so you're guaranteed to walk away with something. The thirst quencher GATORADE will also be providing plenty of products during the contest and award ceremony. There will be heated tents to keep you warm, hot drinks, and more on the beach. An award ceremony will follow the event near by the event location TBA at contest, all ages, family and friends are welcome to attend. The Award Ceremony will have a hot dinner, live music, lots of prizes from our sponsors, surf videos on the big screen and much more. This is a great event and our 5th year running.
