The ESM photo department receives hundreds of shots each day — some for web, some for print, some for specific features, and some at random. Inevitably, many of them will fall through the cracks, so I hope with this new White Balance column to bring light to a few images that don't find a home. I'll try to focus on using exceptional photographs that highlight certain technical challenges, all of which can plague even the most experienced lensman.
