WHAT: ESA-NCFL District Contest #4
WHEN: Saturday, October 31st. 2009
WHERE: Flagler Avenue, New Smyrna Beach, FL
WHY: For trophies, prizes, and valuable ESA points towards ESA Southeast Regional Championships berths, and eventually the ESA Eastern Surfing Championships. ESA-NCFL District Contest #4 also provided competitors the opportunity to spice things up with a hilarious Smyrna Surfari Club Spooktacular Costume Contest division that finished the day. Pro-Lite sponsored an Airshow that suited the chunky three to four-foot northeast windswell perfectly, with Quiet Flight also providing sponsor support. The next ESA-NCFL District contest is sponsored by Red Dog Surf Shop and falls on December 5th at New Smyrna Inlet. Big ups go out to new ESA-NCFL District Co-Director Ryan Marks, who will provide North Central Florida amateurs with extra press and media coverage via his public relations, marketing, and content aggregation website LionizePR.com.
